Marine Safety Sign: Drinking Water + Symbol

Marine safety signs are required to complement or expand the scope of officially designated signage on board vessels. Flag State Authorities (FSA) and Classification societies require many of these marine safetysigns to be on board vesselsto adequately marksafety and life saving equipment.

All first aid points and first aid storage should be marked, as should emergency telephones and emergency stop buttons. Chemical carriers and vessels carrying hazardous cargoes should mark emergency showers and eye washes with the appropriate signs.
