Constructed by McAlpine, the 90 compression bend is designed to fit 2 inch or 50mm commercial pipework, applicable for both domestic maintenance and repair tasks. Its multifit outlet is compatible with solvent weld or push-fit waste pipes, making it an optimal choice. Multifit fittings caters to all plastic waste pipes to BS EN 1451-1:200 and BS EN 1329-1:2000, as well as copper and lead pipes. The moulded internal sleeve offers connection centring and support for the pipe, while multifit and friction washers ensure a secure seal between the pipe and fitting wall. Simply turning the compression nut by hand allows for a strong and reliable mechanical joint to form.
