Description

The Excelsior WXI Indirect Internal Expansion Cylinder is an internal expansion vessel with a difference. It has been designed by Fabdec and incorporates all the manufacturing knowledge they have gained over the years along with their patented 3S technology to create a truly self-sustaining system. With normal internal expansion cylinders, the internal expansion can become filled quickly by water, especially when high pressure is involved. This means that eventually the air gap will need replenishing which can require a lot of maintenance.

Fabdec’s Excelsior WXI Indirect Internal Expansion Cylinder uses new patented 3S Technology, which means that the replenishment of the air gap is completely automatic. The Fabdec Excelsior WXI comes complete with a special device which allows water to flow through it and fluid dynamics create negative pressure which is known as the Venturi Effect. Cold water is fed through the inlet of the device whilst air is drawn in from the top. The now aerated water fills the tank and whole configuration draws enough air to recharge the air gap as the tank is filled. This automatic replenishing of the air gap is a completely new and improved technology for unvented hot water cylinders.

The Indirect Excelsior WXI is ideal for any location where space and time is limited, and it is the perfect addition for any standard boiler.
